Mission
WHAT WE ARE IN BUSINESS TO ACCOMPLISH; OUR LONG-TERM GOALS THAT, WHEN MET, SIGNIFY SUCCESS; THE PURPOSE OF CHARNOCK ROAD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:
- The mission of Charnock Road is to develop lifelong scholars who are curious, persistent and tenacious problem solvers. Charnock alumni are independent and collaborative learners able to critically evaluate and monitor their own knowledge. Our pupils are able to effectively critique information and present/defend their position with facts. Charnock alumni are global citizens who have a strong moral framework and view themselves as change agents within their own communities. Charnock Road is an institution where educators' instructional practices are aligned with proven research.
Vision
WHAT WE WILL SEE WHEN THE MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED; A REAL AND DETAILED PICTURE OF EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE:
- Our vision is to create a learning environment that is based on students' construction of their own knowledge. Students will engage in real life problem solving and have access to the global learning community through the use of technology. Our learning environment will provide for differentiation, the infusion of the arts throughout the curriculum and multi-tiered intervention. Charnock strives to be an educational institution where parents are equal partners in the education of their children and our local business community and universities is actively involved.
A Diverse Neighborhood School
With a stable, experienced faculty and committed community support, Charnock has embarked on an ambitious school improvement program. Through a focus on rigorous, standards-based instruction and innovative family education and community outreach programs, Charnock has become an API 800+ Honor School, a Title I Reward School, and Common Core Lab School.

Con el apoyo estable de maestros con gran experiencia y una comunidad comprometida, Charnock se ha embarcado en un ambicioso programa para el mejoramiento de la escuela. A través de un enfoque en la instrucción de rigor, con base en las normas académicas y programas innovadores de educación para las familias y de extensión comunitaria, Charnock ha logrado ser una Escuela de Honor, con un nivel API de más de 800 puntos, Escuela Premiada por el Título I, y escuela laboratorio de las normas de Common Core.
