DreamBox Math App Update

Updating your iPad app is as easy as 1,2,3. For devices that do not yet have the DreamBox Math app installed:

  1. Search for DreamBox Math in the Apple's App Store.
  2. Install DreamBox Math.
  3. Simply enable the automatic update function on your devices to ensure your students continually receive the most current experience.

Here's how.
If you've already installed DreamBox Math on your devices, you'll just want to make sure you've enabled the automatic update function (see step 3).

Setup should be simple, but should you need assistance or have questions, contact Client Success by email at [email protected] or call toll-free 1-877-451-7845.

Attendance Goal: 7 Absences or Less

Please join us in reaching our goal of 96% attendance!  This means that students must have:

  • No more than one absence for every five weeks (25 instructional days) of school.

  • No more than SEVEN TOTAL absences in the entire school year.

Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Creating a habit of good attendance is important.  Good attendance will help children do well later in high school, college, and work.

  • Be sure to come to school every day

  • Be in the gate by 8:10 a.m.

  • Stay healthy by washing your hands, going to bed on time and eating nutritious meals

  • If your child has a doctor or dentist appointment, please bring him/her to school before or after the appointment

WHAT PARENTS CAN DO:

  • Send your child to school every day on time, starting in Kindergarten.

  • Don’t let your child miss school without a valid reason. Avoid medical appointments during the school day or vacations when school is in session.  If your child has a doctor or dentist appointment, please bring him/her to school before or after the appointment.

  • Create routines and stick to them! Make sure your child goes to bed early so that he/she will be ready to learn. Gather school clothes and supplies the night before in order to be prepared for school the next day.

  • Maintain a positive attitude about school and attendance because children are taught to value education by the adults in their lives!

Schools Continue To Be Safe Spaces for Learning

One of the top priorities of L.A. Unified continues to be creating safe spaces for learning, where all students are respected and have access to a quality education.

The District’s policies prohibit discrimination against or harassment of our students, families, or employees on the basis of actual or perceived religion, disability, nationality, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected classes.

All children in the United States have a constitutional right to equal access to a free public education, regardless of immigration status or that of their parents. L.A. Unified will continue to honor that right.

L.A. Unified does not ask for the immigration status of a student or family member for enrollment or educational purposes.

In the best interest of your child, students should stay home if they have an illness that prevents them from participating comfortably in school activities, or results in a need for care that is greater than the staff can provide.
